I’m Michelle, consultant and founder of Meliora Learning and Development. In case you were wondering, the word Meliora is Latin for 'the pursuit of better’. That is what I am all about; helping small and medium size businesses and independent HR consultants to pursue better for their businesses and their clients.
My approach to training and development challenges involves identifying:
- What the challenge is and how you will know when it has been overcome – what you expect people to be doing/achieving and setting a goal so you can see whether it is being done.
- What people need to do – gaining absolute clarity on what people need to do to achieve the goal.
- Why aren’t people doing it – identifying the factors that are preventing people from doing what they need to do.
- How will change in behaviour or performance be supported and measured?
If training is identified as a solution to help over come the challenge and achieve the goal, then I can work with you to develop that too.
Don’t need a full end to end learning and development solution but do want to ‘pick the brains’ of someone in the know? No problem. I also offer power hours where we can discuss your issue and come up with actions you can take to solve it.
I also work with independent HR consultants to design and develop training for their clients. As an HR consultant, you will have an abundance of knowledge, but you may not feel confident about being able to turn that information into a meaningful training session. So, why not let me help you with this? Let me take your knowledge and turn it into an impactful training session that gives your clients what they need. Having a learning and development partner is also a useful addition to your client offering as you will be able to offer them HR AND learning and development support.
