I started on a healthy lifestyle journey that included weight loss on the app Noom. I was doing well but felt I need more structure and encouragement from a person I trusted. I reached out to Lisa when she posted that she was looking to work with a few people on healthy goals and lifestyles. I have been working with Lisa for over a year now and have found her such a help to keep me focused on my health journey. Since January 2021, I have lost 30 pounds and have kept the weight off with the exception of a fluctuating 5 pounds, but more than that I have increased my physical fitness level and view my choices in exercise and eating as decisions that keep me healthy and not about weight. The journey has been up and down but Lisa has made all the difference. Whether she is cheering me on in meeting my 10,000 steps a day goals, or helping me creatively find healthy snacks (I have a crazy afternoon sweet tooth) or just telling me its ok to take time off and just enjoy life for a few days, she has been my champion in my health lifestyle success. I feel like I can be honest with her and talk about where I am and how I am feeling and she never judges. I always leave the session feeling better than when I started, even when at the start I am feeling pretty good. She is a constant source of inspiration, education, and aspiration. As a 61 year old woman, changing 59 years of unhealthy habits has not been easy, but I know I will continue to keep as healthy as possible into my 70s thanks to Lisa.
