As of April 1st 2022, around 2.5 million UK workers received a pay rise as the National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage increased.

This includes the largest ever increase to the National Living Wage.

The uplift in pay is believed to particularly benefit those in retail, hospitality, cleaning and maintenance sectors.
